I really should have gone to the Shed today, but time just ran away from me. Instead:
The drive to get to the beach had become a bit of an obsession. Luckily, Elayne was recognising this and said, ” Go”. So I did. It was better than the last time, in a slightly strange way. Whilst I was better organised from an equipment angle. It’s useage revealed some significant issues, mainly around falling over and sloping horizons.
Also, I had my relaxed voice, not the stressed version, which was obviously better.
I’ve had some thoughts about the equipment and have a solution that may work, I just need to try it.
Elayne and I had lunch in the Craft Cafe. The chilli chicken wrap with side salad and potato wedges is really quite pleasant, along with a cup of tea. Very nice.
This afternoon, I had my first volunteer session this afternoon. Apart from a couple of simple mistakes, it went reasonably well. I’ll definitely do another. I did find out that there is another person interested in the book section, though. I’ll have to have a chat with them
