I’ve now got access to a railway layout that not only has an extensive track system, but also appears to be an active community as well. My Insta360 GO 3S with a close-up lens allows me to get right down into the action. I’m sure I can find some stories here. I’m ignoring the fact that the room is visible, I don’t yet know how to mask that out.
It’s not so much that I have realised that I have two vlogging voices. One is the relatively calm and relaxed voice as shown in the Composting Bill video (where I am reasonably confident as to what I am talking about, making mistakes, yes, but not too bad), and a much more tense and stressed voice, which really gives away that I am not confident and am stressed about what I want to say. I might talk about that a bit more, and work out a way of showing it here.
I’m sure that most people get a thought in their head that just won’t let go. I’ve had that for the last few days. I wrote about vlogging, and knowing what I want to talk about. I found my voice in the Composting Bill video, and am contrasting that with the little bit of video that I recorded down at Stokes Bay this afternoon, which was very much the other voice. I didn’t like it, it didn’t sound right, and it is definitely not the natural me. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to get across in the Secret Life of Shingle; this afternoon’s attempt was not it (the fact that it was very windy is an excuse). I will have another go!
We are getting near the end of the Camera Club season, next week is the AGM, and that is it. But what I like is that there will still be activities going on; Coffee mornings, monthly walks, and the weekly WhatsApp challenge all go to show what an enthusiastic club we have.
This evening’s events were a mish-mash of fun things: manipulated images, quiz, and a round of ” What is this?” were all excellent and most enjoyable.
