I needed to get some cash this morning, so I thought I would turn the trip out into a quick walk. Heading for Asda, I was disappointed to find both of their cashpoints offline. Oh well, I might as well head in to town. I took the route alongside Haslar Lake. Why am I surprised to see something like this? Really, how annoying.
It’s gone cold, there was a stiff breeze, comingfrom the north east, and it was chilly!
The next ATM I encountered was working, but out of cash.
Luckily, one of the two banks in town was open, and their ATM was working, so I was able to get my cash.
I’ve left a couple of things out of the post, I want to include them in the next Letter to Steve.
This evening was Camera Club. I’m really delighted that we have some new members, one introduced by Elayne and I.
The topic for the evening was Street Photography. One of the club members, Mike, has been very busy producing material for the evening. He gave an interesting description of the genre, and examples of well known Street Photographers. There were a couple of Audio Visual presentations, that were vaery well put together. They were quite inspirational.
It was really good to see some of the Street photography efforts of other members of the club. Elayne and i had both put photos in, you can see my efforts here; https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjDaCcj
we also put in our entries for the next competition, Projected images in a couple of weeks time. Not going to share those yet.
We have had a bit of a run of some very good evenings at the club, which is really nice.
I notice that It’s past midnight, so my count will reset to zero for consecutive posts. That’s annoying.
