No, I’m not going to write about politics. It’s one of those areas where it just isn‘ t worth it. I did have aspirations of being a councillor, but not now. I think I will stick with (armchair) astronomer, amateur radio, photography, microscopy and model railways – more than enough to past any spare time I might have, along with a bit of blogging and Vlogging of course.
I’d really like to do some decent nature photography. I particularly like the Dorset Rambler https://thedorsetrambler.com/ He produces some lovely pictures, and his writings are much better than mine. As much as I enjoy writing, I think my words are somehow stilted. I need to practice.
It’s like being in front of the camera. I’m not happy with that. There’s one slight area where I do feel comfortable, when I am in front of the camera on a Thursday evening as I am about to do the Thursday night net. I usually spend about a minute talking to the camera just welcoming people on to the facebook live. You can see them if you go to the GB3IW facebook page.
