It has been the case that whenever this is on, apart from our first year in Gosport that we are away on holiday. Well, this year we’ve made it again. I think it excellent the amount of effort the villagers put into this event, loads of stalls, loads going on. Whilst the wind was a bit of a pain for the stall holders, it was ok for us as visitors.
It was nice to see the mayor open the event, for some reason I had problems photographing her. It was either her head or her feet that got missed, sorry about that.
Got a little bit of exercise in by cycling to the fair and then ruined by having chips from the chippy and tea and cake a bit later. Oh well, it was a nice couple of hours. G
