1910 – Didn’t walk – Rain!

It has been raining all day. I haven’t been out for a walk, but I did a couple of journeys in the car. Elayne & Aurora went to the house of one her Dancing Group friends for lunch. They do this every month, and last month for the first time I was able to join them for the whole session.

I was going to join them again today. But parking on the street where she lives is atrocious, looking for a parking space took me right down the next street and even then, I didn’t find a slot. So, I went home. Bit disappointing, but there again it meant I could play another part of “The Game”.

The Game you ask – which one; well it’s the book “Can you run the economy” by Joe Mayes. I’ve been playing it for a while now. It is a series of decision points, which then guide you in a certain direction. I’ve been discussing my moves with ChatGPT, and it’s now getting quite interesting.

I had to go out again to pick up Elayne and Aurora, they’d had a nice lunch, and brought me back a rather nice slice of lemon dream cream. I didn’t put the bar on when we got home as I thought we might go out again.

We didn’t go out again. Except I did go out to the car to put the bar on, and that was when I found out just how bad things were. The rain was coming down in huge globules that stuck to you, and were very cold.

Really not helped by a very cold southerly / easterly wind that was bitterly cold.

I just want to write, but I prefer to stay away from controversial topics like politics. I am happy to confess that at the moment, I am writing for me. If you enjoy my writings, and I hope you do then that is all the better.
