I had planned to go for a walk this morning, but circumstances (of my own making) determined that the walk wouldn’t happen. Which was even more frustrating as it being not only the 1st of October, but also the first Wednesday of the month meant that, had I gone for the walk, I could have had a McDonalds Breakfast wrap. As I didn’t go for a walk, I ordered one in! I was not going to be done out of my breakfast wrap! Very nice it was as well.
There are times when I can be a bit slow on the uptake, but I think 5 years is pushing it a bit. What brought that on you might ask? Well, Facebook has this thing of posting memories from years ago. This evening’s memory was a post I did in 2020, I think it was just after Covid Started winding down. It was a post that included a day out of Fantasy Holiday – the round the world cruise. Of course it was a piece of pure fiction. Something which I really don’t enjoy writing, and which during my time writing it, I had excellent fun. Two entirely contrary positions, to a stance I normally take. Not only do I not like writing fiction, but I can’t – now, don’t get me wrong, I am by no means saying my fantasy holidays were great works. Of course they weren’t. But, I not only did it. I enjoyed it.
So much that I might seriously consider doing another one, but where would I go? It would certainly give me something to write about on FB, when for what ever reason,, I don’t have any journalling material. I shall give this some serious consideration.
