Tonight I managed to get to one of the between-seasons Tuesday evening walk arranged by the Camera Club. Tonight’s walk was around the allotments that includes the ones run by the wife of Steve, one of the club members.
The different style of allotments really needs to be seen to be believed. One holder grows only sunflowers another grows onions that will be entered into the annual growers competition at Alverstoke, they were most impressive (I didn’t ask about rivalries, so don’t know if any skulduggery goes on).
I’ve pretty much made up my mind that I’m not getting rid of my Nikon. So I took quite lots of of pictures with the macro lens on. Seemed to have worked ok but I won’t really know until I upload the pictures.
I am really pleased that I made the effort to get out this evening. it was well worth it, plus I managed to get my steps in which was good.
