I have every intention of going for a walk, either tomorrow or the next day I very much want to get into town and see what is going on in the high street. It’s really frustrating that I haven’t been able to.
I have also been neglecting my history book, I haven’t touched it for over a week. To be honest, for most of last week I really didn’t feel like it. But, tonight I do, so I shall be back in to it.
For the hour after work today, we sat down at the bottom of the garden. I do enjoy that. I am mostly out of the sun, so that is OK, but it also means that I am able to watch the birds. In particular the Starlings were their usual selves, showing nervous bravado, with them scouting out the bird table and one of them going for it, which meant the rest did. Not the usual full squadron tonight, only two or three and a blackbird that hid itself in the bush. There was also a starling. Elayne said there had been a lot in the bush near the feeder. i need to make sure that is sorted out for them.
We do need rain, it there has been a little bit today, but nowhere near enough. Let’s hope there is more on the way, but coming at the right time.
