The headline could be “Rain Stopped Walking”. The moist descent was supposed to stop at around 4AM. Somebody’s had forgotten to tell the clouds, so they continued to demonstrate the love for the Rain God who must have been in the area (think Hitch hikers Guide to the Galaxy).
Frustratingly that meant I would have missed Dave’s reappearance on the #Breakfastclub, so even though (from my point of view) it’s not scheduled for tomorrow, I think it is on. Only problem now is that there is another rain warning out – due though, to stop by 0400. Let’s see how accurate this one is.
I’m watching another Paul Whitewick video, this one is about hill forts. He’s spent a fair bit of time around Badbury Rings. Now, they aren’t too far away, and I really would quite like to visit them. I really like his videos. Very professionally produced, and definitely of a quality to aspire to.
Now here’s a thing. – that same video has just shown Badbury Rings also shows Spetisbury Rings – which I have never heard of before, and they don’t look as though they are far away. Looking at the map, it also shows Buzbury rings also not far away. Looks like it would be straightforward to get in the hill forts in one go.
