Well, not really gardening – more cutting grass. We visited Elayne’s parents, they wanted a bit of work done. Mostly cutting grass. We all mucked in, David wanted a wild patch left in the middle of the lawn.
The grass was quite long, but it was strimmed first in places, in other places we just used the lawnmower, it’s a manual push-mower. Surprisingly I quite enjoyed using the push mower, and for a few brief seconds, I seriously considered getting one. Actually, when the grass is as short as it is, I might still consider that.
I also suggested that we might invest in a battery-operated mower. Interesting thoughts.
